Couture Shepherd is a designer, creative director, and filmmaker based in New York. Raised in the Freeport Long Island, Exit 21 were he spent his formative years. He would also spend time in Corona, Queens were his grandfather pastored a church called “Good Shepherd” hence where the name Shepherd derives from. Corona’s Junction Blvd was an area were he’d gain appreciation for art and fashion the most. Seeing his cousin get his uptown’s customized every weekend, going the barbershop right on 37th and Junction above the Kennedys where on the outer part of the patio they would get this artist to do a graffiti mural every month. The repurpose of an object from landscape to brands; something that was already purposed, using it as if was a blank canvas left for inspiration to introduce something new.
